SENATE BILL NO. 112 An Act establishing a discovery royalty                    
credit for the lessees of state land drilling exploratory wells and            
making the first discovery of oil or gas in commercial quantities              
was read the second time.                                                      
                                                                               
Senator Leman moved and asked unanimous consent for the adoption               
of the Resources Committee Substitute offered on page 2802.                    
Senator Ellis objected, then withdrew his objection.  There being no           
further objections, CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 112(RES) An Act                     
establishing a discovery royalty credit for the lessees of state land          
drilling exploratory wells and making the first discovery of oil or gas        
in an oil or gas pool in the Cook Inlet sedimentary basin was                  
adopted and read the second time.                                              
                                                                               
Senator Halford moved and asked unanimous consent that the bill be             
considered engrossed, advanced to third reading and placed on final            
passage.  Senator Ellis objected.
